Craft Products I Love!

There are always tons of options when it gets down to choosing which product will do that right job. Here I'll tell you which products I use and swear by, and for what I've had success in using them with!

ADHESIVES:

Amazing E-6000 - This glue is awesome, I have not found a stronger glue for general crafting. It holds up to the point where if you try to remove it, the piece you've glued will break before the seal does. I have used it on phone cases I've decorated, gluing plastic to plastic, gluing glass to glass. All around awesome adhesive when you really need it to stick. If you are sensitive to chemical smells, make sure you use in a ventilated area. Also, the glue tends to continue coming out of the tube just when sitting without the cap on, so watch out for that. If your cap is glued onto the tube, use needle-nose pliers to twist the cap off.

Krylon Spray Adhesive -  I love this spray adhesive to hold things down while I'm working with them, especially lace. For example, I use this to semi-attach lace to jewelry boxes I make (which you can see in the sold section of my etsy shop) the process I use is to spray the adhesive onto the box, press down the lace so that there are no bubbles, it's completely flat, then spray the color on. The adhesive helps a lot with something like this, I have also done the same process on a glass decorative plate (with lace).

Glue Gun - Other than possibly scrapbooking, a glue gun hasn't come in too handy for me when  I need something attached to another. The glue just isn't sturdy enough. However, as seen here in my phone case tutorial, the glue gun and it's glue is extremely useful!

PAINT:

Spray Paint - I prefer Krylon, but many brands will do. It's great for quick jobs, and if there are any mess-ups you can make a quick fix!

Interior Wall Paint - Maybe it's just me, but only in the past year did I realize how versatile interior wall paint is. You can really paint anything with it. When I say anything, I mean the type of stuff I sell in my etsy shop and more. There are endless colors to choose from and if you go to a small local hardware store you can get a quart for somewhere around $3.99 and in reality, that quart lasts a very very long time when using on small projects.

Krylon Crystal Clear Coat - I use this on everything I paint. It gives the piece a nice shine as well and some protection. This product also goes on very evenly, and it nice to use!
